Candy is finally on CD!As the previous reviewer says, "It's about time!"Now if we could just get the film released on Blu-Ray!The CD sounds great! It's so nice to hear this without all the pops and scratches of vinyl. As far as what it is, a CD re-release of the original 1968 soundtrack, this is nearly perfect! Reel Time Records did a great job with this release! How could this be better?Anyone who has the original soundtrack knows that there is some pretty cool music in the movie that is NOT included on the soundtrack. Most notably, Richard Burton's entrance as MacPhisto. Also missing was the last section of Ewa Aulin's entrance, before the film cuts to her in the classroom. Also, the music on the soundtrack isn't exactly as it is in the film. The music is edited and transitions into other pieces. For example, "Birth By Descent" starts off as the opening music from the film, and Ewa Aulin's entrance, but then transitions into music from middle of the film. There was also a single version of "Constant Journey" released which was slightly different than the version included on the soundtrack, and I'm not referring to the "Chaps" version. These have always been missing from the soundtrack, not just the CD.I would love to see a deluxe CD release which includes ALL the music from the film, as well as all the singles.
